RESOURCES · 6 FREE GITHUB REPOS

free repos, real money mechanisms.

people love posting "6 free GitHub repos that print money" and then gating the actual links behind a comment-to-DM. we're not doing that. six real, currently-public repos below — the actual github link, what each one does, and the honest way to turn it into paid work. no dm required.

the list

six repos, six ways to get paid.

Each one is free to run today. The repo gets you the tool — you still have to point it at a client or an offer. That part's on you, but at least you're not starting from zero.

STACK · CLAUDE ADS

Claude Ads

A Claude Code skill that runs a full paid-ads audit — Google, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Microsoft, Apple, YouTube — and hands back a prioritized, scored fix list in about 10–15 minutes.

the playaudit local businesses' ad accounts, upsell the fix list into a monthly optimization retainer
typical$500–1.5k/mo
GIG · FINCEPT TERMINAL

Fincept Terminal

A free, open-source Bloomberg alternative — live market data, 100+ data sources, AI investment research, self-hosted with a native desktop app.

the playturn the research output into a paid market-intelligence brief for retail traders who can't justify a real Bloomberg seat
typical$250–750/report
EDGE · VIBE-TRADING

Vibe-Trading

An open-source AI trading agent — backtests, market analysis, multi-agent debate, automated strategies — with no quant coding required. Hit #2 Repository of the Day on GitHub Trending.

the playmove first while it's still under the radar — build & sell tested trading strategies before the tool goes mainstream
typicalhighest ceiling, shortest window
SCRAPE · CAMOUFOX BROWSER

Camoufox Browser

A REST API wrapping the Camoufox anti-detection browser engine — gives AI agents a real, harder-to-block browser to scrape and automate the web with.

the playwrap it into a lead-gen or competitor-monitoring service — scrape at scale, sell the clean output as a report or lead list
typical$250–750/report
STACK · HYPERFRAMES

HyperFrames

HeyGen's open-source framework for turning HTML + code into rendered MP4 video — no timeline editor, no manual cuts, built to be driven by agents.

the playtemplate one ad or product-demo format once, then batch-render hundreds of variants — sell it as content-at-scale to agencies
typical$300–1.5k + retainer
PRODUCT · OPEN-GEN-AI

Open-Gen-AI

A self-hosted studio for 200+ open image and video generation models — no subscriptions, no per-call API bills, runs on your own machine.

the playrun it on your own hardware, sell the output — batches of on-brand creative or product shots — at a flat price while your cost per image stays near zero
typical~$50–300/batch
THE POINT

free code isn't a business

None of these repos make you money by existing on your laptop. Each one gets you the deliverable faster — you still need a client, an offer, and a price. Treat the repo as the shortcut, not the whole plan.

the honest part

These are real, currently-public repos, but open source moves fast and licenses vary — check each one's license before you build a paid offer on top of it. Fincept Terminal, for example, is open-core: the free tier is real, but commercial use and some data feeds sit behind a paid edition. "Free to run" also isn't "free to operate" — budget for your own server, hosting, or the API costs some of these lean on. No repo here guarantees income; the mechanism is real, the execution is still on you.
